10 Tips For Hair Fall During Shampooing

Today’s hectic life, stress, pollution and chemical-rich products have the biggest impact on anything, then it is our skin and hair. Still, we sometimes pay attention to the skin, but ignore the hair too much. Thick, soft, shiny and fragrant hair is what almost everyone wants, but do we put in the necessary effort for it. Hair gets our attention only when it does not have any problem like dandruff, dryness or hair fall.

Also, some of us try to keep our hair nourished, hair spa and haircut regularly. But is this enough to do?

Hair cleaning is equally important with all these things but how many of us pay attention to it? Do we all clean our hair properly? They are exposed to sunlight, dust and soil every day throughout the week, and give bacteria plenty of opportunity to thrive. They also require proper cleaning and care. Now you say what’s new in this? Everyone knows about hair cleaning i.e. hairwash or shampoo and almost everyone must have done hairwash regularly. But are you doing it the right way? Do you know the right way to wash hair? If you also tend to break a lot of hair while shampooing, it is more likely that you are not washing your hair properly. There is no need to panic because here we are telling you in some easy steps what should be the right way to wash hair.

  • Detangle your hair with a wide-toothed comb before shampooing. If you shampoo only in tangled hair, then it will break more.
  • Mix one part shampoo with two parts water. Not only will this make it easier for you to apply the shampoo, but it also reduces the harshness of the chemicals in the shampoo that won’t harm your hair.
  • Wet your hair and then mix the shampoo with water and apply it on your scalp.
  • Now massage the scalp and hair roots with light hands for 2 minutes and then wash with water until clear water starts coming out of the hair. Repeat this process if needed. Also, do not wash the hair with shampoo again and again unnecessarily.
  • You do not need to shampoo the rest of the hair as these too will get washed away while washing the top hair. Remember that shampoo is for the scalp and conditioner is for the hair.
  • Now squeeze out all the extra water from the hair and apply conditioner on it – remember to apply conditioner only on the hair and not on the scalp. Your scalp is stripped of a lot of natural oils anyway, so applying conditioner to it will flatten it out and soon become oily and sticky again.
  • Leave it like this for two minutes and then wash it off. Remember that not even a little conditioner should remain in the hair. (Know a secret if your hair steams while blow-drying, so make sure your hair still has conditioner in it.)
  • Squeeze all the excess water from the hair with light hands and now wrap a cotton cloth on it like a T-shirt. Do not rub hair with a towel – this can cause hair breakage and frizz.
  • Let the hair air dry in summer and dry your hair in winter with a dryer on cool setting. Comb lightly wet hair with a wide-tooth comb, focusing on lightly damp hair, not very wet hair. If possible, detangle the hair slowly with the help of fingers before combing the hair.
  • If you have dry hair, use your fingers to gently apply serum or leave-in conditioner to your hair.
