Anuradha Choudhary is an Indian political leader, serving in Uttar Pradesh, India. She is a minister of Lok Sabha in Uttar Pradesh. Personal Life and Marriage
Anuradha Choudhary was born in 1960 in Delhi Cantt. She is the daughter of war veteran Brigadier Atma Singh and Sarla Devi. Her father served in the Kumaon Regiment while he was in the Indian Army. On growing up, Anuradha Choudhary got married to a businessman and social worker named Aditya Kumar. He was a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Debut as a Politician
Anuradha began her political career by taking part in the election in 2002 to become an MLA from Baghra. After winning the election, she became the PWD minister of Uttar Pradesh.
In 2004 she again took part in the election for the post of MP for Kairana on a Rashtriya Lok Dal ticket.
In 2009, she was elected in the Lok Sabha election from Muzaffarnagar but lost.
Joined as BJP Member
In 2012 just before the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, she quit the Rashtriya Lok Dal so that she could join Samajwadi Party. After joining Samajwadi Party, she was appointed as the national general secretary.
In 2014, she lost in the Lok Sabha election and could not remain the minister of UP and as a result, she quit the party.
In 2015, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Modi Government.
