Mere Sajana Saath Nibhana is a 1992 Hindi-language movie directed by Rajesh Vakil. The movie has stars like Mithun Chakraborty, Juhi Chawla, Shantipriya, and Prem Chopra. The film is a remake of Kizhakku Vasal, a Tamil success.
Mere Sajana Saath Nibhana Plot and Review:
Kanhaiya (Mithun Chakraborty) lives with his mother in a small rural Indian town and makes a living by singing and dancing at weddings, birthdays, and other important ceremonies in the community with Bhola.
He is a young man whom Kanhaiya’s mother decided to offer house and shelter to when he was lost at a fair.
He eventually falls in love with Chanchal, the prominent Thakur of the village, and Zamindar Raghuvir Singh’s daughter, who frequently plays pranks on Kanhaiya and eventually falls in love with him and urges him to ask her father for her hand in marriage.
In response, Bhola and Kanhaiya’s mother approach him, but they are insulted, violently assaulted, and thrown out.

A Twist in the Film:
Kanhaiya’s mother tells Bhola not to tell Kanhaiya about the incident, but Kanhaiya’s mother dies as a result of severe thrashing, insult, and shock.
And this incident causes Bhola to reveal everything that occurred at the Thakur’s residence, leaving Kanhaiya enraged and determined to take revenge for her death from the arrogant Thakur.
Thakur is insulted and dumbfounded when he learns that his daughter offered marriage to Bhola and his mother as a result of her daughter’s behavior. Over her objections, Thakur, enraged by her daughter, arranges for her to marry his friend Thakur Pratap Singh’s son, Ranjit, over her objections.
He also extends an invitation to Kanhaiya to sing at his daughter’s wedding. Chanchal apologizes for her father’s conduct during her wedding ceremony and informs him that she truly loved him but had to submit to society and caste pressure and consent to her father’s decision.

Revenge, Planning and Climax
Ranjit overhears this and chooses to call off his marriage to Chanchal. But his father calms him, telling him not to call off the wedding.
And keep Chanchal as a sex slave and marry a girl of his preference, because Chanchal will bring him great money and Thakur Pratap will be able to rule her family via her.
Thakur Raghuvir, however, overhears this and chooses to end the marriage.
Ranjit, enraged, attacks Kanhaiya with his thugs and injures him severely with a poisonous weapon. Because of Thakur Pratap’s fear, no one comes to Kanhaiya’s aid.
It is then that Kanhaiya is aided by Janki, a young woman who lives with her guru, Thakur Pratap Singh Dayal. Dayal, who used to get money by slapping himself and demonstrating his tolerance, is approached by Janki, who encourages him to look for work.
Dayal gets labour in the home of Shanti, a mistress. Janki, likewise, lives with Dayal, and Shanti pays for her food and education.
Janki witnesses Shanti in an uncompromising situation with Thakur Pratap one day and learns that Thakur Pratap is his father.
Shanti becomes unwell and needs quick medical attention. Thakur Pratap offers her the money on the proviso that if Shanti dies, Janki will take over as Shanti’s replacement.
Unfortunately, Shanti dies, and Janki is forced to choose between repaying the money to Thakur Pratap or obeying his commands and coming to his bedroom at night.
Dayal, feeling helpless, begs Kanhaiya’s assistance in rescuing her.
Janki has feelings for Kanhaiya, but Pratap regards her as his mistress and refuses to let anybody near her, let alone marry her.
Janki is summoned by Kanhaiya, who marries her in a temple.
Pratap eventually learns about the tragedy, and he and his son Ranjit try to avenge Kanhaiya’s death. They arrive to fight Kanhaiya, but the villagers, led by Thakur Raghuvir, assault and beat up the father-son combination, saving Kanhaiya.
Kanhaiya and Janki are happily married at the end.
