Chester Watson (born March 16, 1997) is an American rapper and file manufacturer who lives in Miami, Florida. He i’s a member of the group Nü Age Syndicate.
Youth
Watson changed into a born-to-separated dad and mom in St. Louis, Missouri. He rarely noticed his father, who has been a manufacturer for 3 6 Mafia and a keyboard player for Con Funk Shun and Bar-Kays. He grew up in Clearwater, Florida, and spent several years in Georgia. He transferred from a performing arts school, where he studied ballet, to an ordinary public faculty in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Profession
at the age of 15, Watson commenced liberating his track online. In 2012, he released a mixtape, Phantom. The tuning video for its name track caught the eye of Zane Lowe, who played the track on his BBC Radio 1 display. For weeks, the video received tens of thousands of perspectives every day. Watson released Tin Wooki in 2014, beyond Cloaks in 2016, and mission 0 in 2018.
On October 31, 2020, Watson released his debut studio album, A Japanese Horror movie.

Watson’s inspirations are made clear thru his song, with references in his lyrics to many artists. In the latest Livestream on his Twitch channel, Watson turned into requested who his largest inspirations were. He responded with the following artists: Psymun, MF DOOM, bizarre destiny, Mos Def, Madlib, Nujabes, J Dilla, André 3000, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott.
producing most of his material, Watson blends genres, which include hip-hop, lo-fi, and psychedelia. In 2017, Watson launched a video on his YouTube channel titled “A second With Chester Watson”, wherein he stated “I kinda simply need my profession to take its direction, and lean in the direction of psychedelia, for positive… due to the fact… I do not know, like, that’s what I’m stimulated by using the most.” His signature monotone style of transport is one of the components that units Watson aside from his contemporaries, and in the long-run has given him the nickname of the Monotone Samurai.
In his EP 1997, released on February 27, 2021, Watson made multiple references to the late MF DOOM’s passing. He launched a video for the primary music at the EP, “Sunbeam”, and in its description wrote “RIP MF DOOM”.
