Kundan, the pivot, is a wine, ladies, and gambling connoisseur, but he’s also a dashing young guy with a golden heart, frank honesty, and devil-may-care boldness.
With the do-or-die decision, he falls head over heels for Kesar, a tomboyish, upright, and daring girl with a noble heart. Kesar scorns him, and her contempt for him stokes the fires of desire in his heart.
Despite having all of the characteristics of mind and heart, Kesar is a helpless have-not. She is powerless to prevent the mercenary, affluent, and resourceful Lala Hakumat Rai, who is as old as her late father, from marrying her.
Simultaneously, Hakumat Rai was sold for a considerable sum of money due to Diwan’s intention to commit suicide after being advised to do so by Kesar, whom he loved with the fervour of a Majnu.
On the eve of their wedding, Kesar runs away from the altar, and Kundan takes her in as his wife to keep her from Hakumat Rai’s clutches. Kesar is forced to pretend as Kundan’s wife because she despises the sight of Hakumat Rai.

Kundan’s aging mother and the rest of the family greet her warmly. Kesar, on the other hand, refuses to be Kundan’s wife and accepts her decision. He vows to keep her safe from bad guys until the man she loves arrives.
Kundan’s frustration with love leads him deeper into the quagmire of nautch girls and gambling dens. The suffering of Kundan’s mother and family affects Kesar’s thoughts, and she takes on the onerous task of rescuing Kundan from his sinful surroundings, losing her sight in the process.
Hakumat Rai now attacks with the ferocity of a hawk on the prowl. He seizes Kundan’s home and throws his family out into the streets.
He manipulates the police to have Kundan arrested, and in a last-ditch effort to save Kundan and his family, Kesar agrees to marry the wicked Lala, who is now planning to kill Diwan for his insurance money and take the girl as well.

Kundan is liberated just a day before the tumultuous wedding. He must now choose between remaining a symbol of sin for the enjoyment of his senses or becoming a Devta, a symbol of service to his people.
Conclusion
Gunahon Ka Devta is a fantastic family drama with action, gambling and police cases. However, the songs in the movie are also great to listen to.
