Brennan Lee Mulligan is popularly known for his works as a writer, performer, and gamemaster. He served as a sketch writer and performer along with College Humor. Additionally, he also worked as a gamemaster for College Humor’s web series named Dimension 20 which was a Dungeons & Dragons series. Moreover, he has written Strong Female Protagonist together with Molly Oster tag which was a superhero web comic.
Early life
Mulligan was born on 4 January 1988. Her mother’s name was Elaine Lee. At the early age of 9 years, her mother introduced him to Dungeon & Dragons. And at the age of ten, he did his first gamemastering.
When he was 17, he graduated from SUNY Ulster with an associate degree in philosophy or humanities.
Career
During his teens, he was a lead story writer and performer for the live-action role-playing summer camp named The Wayfinder Experience for many years. After that, he and Molly Ostertag co-created the webcomic named Strong Female Protagonist. This webcomic was one of the Best New and Short Webcomics of io9 of 2012.
After that in his twenties, he performed and taught comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and working at UCB helped and led him to work at CollegeHumor. This premiered on 14 December 2017 with Who’s the Real Cop?
In November 2015, he was a contestant on the American version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and he won $50,000 after incorrectly answering the question of $100,000.
Since 2018, he has been an executive producer, writer, and gamemaster for Dimension 20 which streams on the platform Dropout. Dropout has also hosted his video podcast named The Adventuring Academy. He is very popular because of his capacity as a professional d&d gamemaster.
